-Vanessa Marcil
Vanessa Marcil was
born on October 15, 1969 in Palm Desert, California. When she was born
her name wasn't Marcil, it was Ortiz. When she was in the second grade
she and a friend had the opportunity to skip second grade, but her
parents and her decided it wouldn't be good for her. She attended Indio
High School. She also lived in Alaska with her family.
In 1989, She got
married to actor, Corey Feldman, but they are currently divorced. She
auditioned for the movie I Still Know What You Did Last Summer, but she
didn't get the part because the director thought her beauty would take
away from the other actresses. She played the part of Brenda Barrett
Jacks in General Hospital from 1992-1998. In 1997, she won Hottest
Female Star at the Soap Opera Awards. She also played Nicolas Cage's
girlfriend in the Rock in 1996. For two years, 1998-2000, she played the
part of Gina Kincaid on the tv show Beverly Hills 90210. She left the
show to work on her movie career. Vanessa was offered the cover and
layout in Playboy Magazine but didn't take the offer because she doesn't
like to show her body off.
She has also appeared
in the movies To Love, honor and deceive and This small space between
us.
She was engaged for a
time to GH costar Tyler Christopher but the two have since called off
their engagement and Vanessa has been linked to former BH 90210 costar
Brian Austin Green.
Recently, Vanessa
announced that she was pregnant. There were reports that Vanessa and
Brian are engaged, but she has denied this rumors.
Since then, Vanessa
has been expecting the arrival of her baby boy along with the baby's
father, Brian.
