Actress Marilyn Monroe was born in Los Angeles, CA on June 1st 1926. She was orphaned by her mentally ill mother at the age of 2. Her debut was in Shocking Miss Pilgrim in 1947. Her last movie was Something's Got to Give starring Dean Martin in 1962. She died before the movie was completed. She married three times, once to playwrite Arthur Miller (death of a salesman) and baseball legend Joe DiMaggio. Marilyn Monroe died August 5th 1962 of a suicide.
