Meet Jillian Barberie. Long hair, sexy smile. Jillian is weatherbabe for Fox 11 Morning News and Good Day L.A., seen weekdays on KTTV FOX 11. She also reports for Fox Style, the weekly segment that spotlights the hottest and hippest trends in fashion.
Jillian joined Good Day L.A. in June 1995 after two years as weatherbabe on the weeknight editions of the Fox 11 10 O'clock News. Jillian joined FOX 11 in October 1993. Since joining FOX 11, Jillian has provided live coverage of weather-related disasters in Southern California, including the 1998 El Nino storms. She provided live reports from around the Southland for Fox Overtime, Fox 11’s post-game show that followed the 1995 and 1996 NFL games. Jillian has made several special appearances on various television shows. She played “Foxy Levin” in V.I.P. with Pamela Anderson Lee, as a game show host in Clueless, as a news reporter in Beverly Hills 90210, and as herself in the series finale of Melrose Place. In June 2000, Barberie was a guest host on Live with Regis and Kathie Lee. In September 2000, she joined NFL on Fox with Terry Bradshaw, Howie Long and James Brown. Jillian is a tvbabe of all trades. Barberie joined FOX 11 from WSVN, the Fox station in Miami, where she had worked since February 1992 as the weeknight weatherbabe. During 1992's devastating Hurricane Andrew, she provided live reports on the disaster for 48 hours straight. While there, Barberie also reported the weekly segments "7 Freestyle," about sports and entertainment, and "Express Yourself," concerning topical issues. Before her time at WSVN, Jillian worked for Canada's Weather Network as their weeknight weatherbabe. Barberie graduated from Mohawk College of Applied Arts and Technology in Hamilton, Ontario (Canada) with a broadcast journalism degree. |
