Dido Interview
On touring America Dido: "The toilet tour is fun, it's one of my favourite things to do. You go around in this van and see huge amounts of Amercia, you're meeting fans and playing the songs acoustically. The further you get out of the big cities, the more fun you have." On the new album Dido: "I think I've moved further on. I haven't gone mad and done a rap-rock album. When I listen to it, it definitely feels different from the first one...maybe I've inadvertently been more been adventurous with the beats." On the record company hearing the album for the first time Dido: "If you feel good, you just feel excited about it...it's definitely nerve racking 'cos it would be awful if they turned round and said start again when it's something that you were so passionate about." On Eminem Dido: "I didn't go to Milton Keynes, I was in the studio. We were never like hanging out, only when we worked together. I still have the highest level of respect for him. " |
