like me." Born on 17th of February 1972, in Downers Grove, Illinois, Denise Lee Richards quickly went from an unknown to the highly publicized Hollywood actress she is today. Her father Irv, and mother Joni, owned a string of coffee shops called Jitters and they relocated to Oceanside, California with Denise and her younger sister when she was only 15 years old. In 1989, Denise went on to graduate from El Camino High School in Oceanside. After completing high school, she began to model in Paris, Tokyo and New York, and became the makeup girl for Bonne Bell cosmetics.
