- Daisy Fuentes Daisy Fuentes Info Daisy Fuentes left her native Havana, Cuba, when she was only three years old to reside in Spain. Four years later, her family settled in New Jersey. Daisy was plucked out of community college to be a news reporter for the evening news on WXTV Channel 41, Univision's New York affiliate. By January '88, Daisy had moved to WNJU Channel 47, Telemundo's New York affiliate. Daisy got her biggest break of all when MTV selected Daisy to host MTV Internacional. From there, Daisy went on to work at MTV Latino and eventually the original MTV where she still is today. In addition to several TV specials, Daisy has hosted "Beach MTV" and the "The Top 20 Countdown." Most recently, she was selected to host "House of Style." In addition to her duties at MTV, Daisy has a worldwide contract to represent Revlon's classic cosmetic, fragrance and beauty-treatment lines. She is also interested in acting and has appeared on several TV shows including "Cybill," "The Larry Sanders Show," "Dream On" and the now-defunct soap opera "Loving." Daisy has dated Latin rocker Luis Miguel for six years after meeting him at an interview. She currently resides in New Jersey. |
