This is the life of Mary Kate and Ashley Olsen who started their careers at the ripe old age of nine months. Now, they've traveled around the world, made tons of cool videos and are probably the most famous twins on the planet. The two strawberry-blonde cuties were born in Sherman Oaks, California. Mary Kate and Ashley Olsen have an older brother Trent and a younger sister Lizzie, both of whom have made appearances in the twins' video adventures. Their parents, Jarnie and David are divorced, but still manage the twins' careers together. Mary Kate and Ashley Olsen's fun careers began when their mom and dad took them to Courtesy of Fox. an audition for a TV show called Full House. The producers were looking for twin girls to play the role of Michelle Tanner. Tons of babies auditioned but the Olsen twins were the only ones who didn't fuss and cry - they got the job instantly. The show lasted until 1994 so the Olsen twins basically got to grow up in front of the camera. They learned how to crawl, walk and ride a bike with the camera rolling. After the show ended, many people thought that meant the end of Mary Kate and Ashley Olsen's careers. Instead the girls went on to bigger projects like music albums, popular home videos and a book series.They also had their own TV series called Two of a Kind, but it only lasted one season. |
