Angie Everhart Interview
Q: You were born in Akron, Ohio, how did you ever get into modeling? My mother took my picture to a model agency and the rest is history. Q: Well, that history landed you in Sports Illustrated, what was that like? It was one of the hardest jobs I have had. It was during the era of Julie Campbell, I do not know if she is still there. But all I remember is early mornings. Imagine trying on things really early (laughs). But it was also great because we visited exotic places. Q: Any one spot stand out? Well, Paris, St. Barth's and South Africa are some, or do you want a Top 5? Q: Now, this Howard Stern thing, was it a friendly flirt, candy for the media or something serious? Hmm... do we have to mention any of that? Q: No Howard, or no Ashley and Sly as well? All of that. Q: Okay, you need not answer... generally speaking, what do you look for in a man? A man with a sense of humor and confidence. Q: Is it possible for men to be confident with you given your career? Why not? Q: Because men remain for the large part insecure when they date models... speaking of models -- are they as dumb as their reputation would suggest? Some are, some aren't. Cindy Crawford is the smartest one I know. Q: And the flip side of the coin? Let's not go there (laughs). Q: How often do men try to pick you up? It depends on the place. For the most part, I do not go out all that often, so it varies. Q: What do you do to stay busy and entertained? I work out, I play sports, I go to concerts... Q: And what kind of music do you like? Rock 'n' roll... but I also like sporting events a lot. I love Mike Piazza. Q: For his athletic abilities or his out of bounds capabilities? (laughs) All of the above. |
