- Amber Valetta Amber Valetta Info Born and raised in Tulsa, Oklahoma, her first job was an editorial for Italian Vogue when she was first discovered by local agency. As a child, she wanted to become a sociologist or work in a social field. She has used her position in the fashion world to support various charity events, and in November 1995, she organized Supermodels Stepping Out Against Hunger in her hometown, a fashion show to benefit the Tulsa Community Food Bank. Amber has appeared in numerous prestigious advertising campaigns, such as Prada, Calvin Klein, DKNY, Valentino, Giorgio Armani, Alberta Ferretti, Jil Sander, Gucci, Versace and Chanel. She is the face of Elizabeth Arden in an exclusive, world-wide campaign as of September 1996. She and her best friend Shalom Harlow have picked up where Cindy Crawford left off and they are now co-hosting MTV's House of Style. What she likes most about modelling : travel and the opportunity to meet people from all walks of life. What she hates most : planes ! |
