Landry was born on July 21, 1973 in Breaux Bridge, Louisiana. She stands a
striking five foot eight inches tall, with stunning brown hair and
mesmerizing brown eyes. She attended the University of Southwestern
Louisiana with a major in Mass Communications. Ali's sweet and outgoing
personality made it easy for her to win the hearts of her sisters in the
Kappa Delta Sorority at USL.
Ali Landry's "big
break" was winning the prestigious title of Miss USA 1996; from there
her career sky-rocketed. Her most acclaimed role as the "Doritos
Girl" began with her first commercial in the Super Bowl of 1998, with
such a high response that Ali was asked to appear again during Super Bowl
1999. Ali's love of animals made her a natural as the host of UPN's
"America's Greatest Pets," and she herself has a Shih-Tzu named
Cosmo. Ali had recurring roles on such shows as Pensacola: Wings of Gold,
The Bold and the Beautiful, Sunset Beach, Clueless and Significant Others.
When she is not acting Ali Landry enjoys the great outdoors and listening
to Classic '70s rock. She was also named one of People Magazine's
"Most Beautiful People" in 1998. |
